Marpha Foundation’s residency program explores the possibilities that access to the arts can provide, and what affect this access can have on both a rural community and the artist as maker.
Volunteer teachers design art projects that integrate subjects from the humanities and sciences. Our goal is to encourage curiosity by allowing students to learn by doing and to become co-creators of their learning process.
Volunteer English teachers work in local schools to address current gaps in English curriculum. Classes emphasize understanding over memorization, and teach students to become active participants in their learning.
Our work is made possible by generous contributions from individuals like you! There are several ways to help Marpha Foundation, visit our Support page to explore the different ways that you can contribute.
